Resumo
The aim of this study was to analyze nonlinear models to describe the growth in buffaloes. It was utilized information of 18 weightings, from birth to 40 months of age, from 236 buffaloes of Murrah breed. The models utilized were Brody, Von Bertalanffy, Richards, logistic and Gompertz. The logistic, Gompertz and Von Bertalanffy were adequate to describe the growth of the buffaloes.
