Resumo
A presente pesquisa teve como objetivo investigar o rebatimento dos problemas sociais presentes na sociedade, refletidos sobre o cenário escolar e suas conseqüências para o aprendizado do estudante, compreendendo tais problemas como objeto de trabalho do profissional de Serviço Social. Apresentamos inicialmente neste estudo uma breve trajetória histórica da educação brasileira para melhor compreensão das mudanças que a educação sofreu até seu momento de abertura a todas as classes sociais. Posteriormente, a interferência de um novo modelo econômico, “o liberalismo”, passa a dividir a educação novamente em status sociais, cabendo à iniciativa privada a educação de “qualidade”. Perante esta situação discutimos sobre a influência do sistema econômico nas mudanças de valores e paradigmas estabelecidos em sociedade, as metamorfoses que a família brasileira vem sofrendo e sua interferência na vida dos filhos e, consequentemente, no seu rendimento escolar. Nessa perspectiva, foi escolhido como universo para realização deste estudo, a escola pública E.E. Profª. Dalva Lellis Garcia do Prado, localizada na cidade de Guaíra - SP, a qual se encontra classificada entre as 100 piores escolas do estado de São Paulo segundo o Sistema de Avaliação do Rendimento Escolar do Estado de São Paulo (SARESP) de 2007, e como sujeitos da pesquisa representantes de todos os segmentos presentes no cotidiano escolar: estudantes, pais/responsáveis, professores e direção escolar. Este estudo possibilitou a compreensão da realidade social dos sujeitos pesquisados, auxiliando no estabelecimento de estratégias de intervenção operacionalizadas pelo profissional de Serviço Social, frente aos problemas sociais que interferem neste contexto
The aim of the present research was to investigate the social problems presented in the society, reflected through the school scenery and their consequences for the student's learning, understanding problems as an object of the professional's Social Work. We initially present in this study a short historical path of the Brazilian education for better understanding of the changes that the education suffered until the momento for opening all the social classes. Later, the interference of a new economical model, the liberalism, starts to divide the education again in social status, falling to the private initiative the quality education. Before this situation we discussed about the influence of the economical system in the changes of values and established paradigms in society, the metamorphoses that the Brazilian family is suffering and its interference in the children's life and, consequently, in their school income. In this perspective, it was chosen as universe for accomplishment of this study the public school E.E. Profª. Dalva Lellis Garcia do Prado of the Grassland, located in the city of Guaíra - SP, which is classified among the a hundred worse schools of São Paulo state, according to the System of Evaluation of the School Income of the State of São Paulo (SARESP) 2007, and as subject of the research representatives of all of the present segments in the daily school: students, parents / responsible, teachers and school direction. This study was possible due to the understanding of the social reality of the researched subjects, aiding in the establishment of strategies of intervention for the professional of Social Work, front to the social problems that interfere in this context
