Resumo
A presente pesquisa apresenta uma investigação sobre a avaliação da leitura à primeira vista. O escopo deste estudo procurou, por meio dos referenciais da leitura à primeira vista e dos Estilos Intelectuais, estabelecer uma correlação entre esses dois constructos para confirmação interna dos itens estatisticamente adaptados ou elaborados utilizados, sendo estes já com percurso de validação semântica e de conteúdo finalizados. O objetivo geral foi compreender os estilos cognitivos da avaliação da leitura à primeira vista dos licenciandos em Música. Mais especificamente: a) buscar evidências de validade para os instrumentos, de modo a averiguar as variáveis trazidas no presente estudo; b) levantar as estratégias empregadas na leitura à primeira vista; c) identificar os “Estilos Intelectuais” que norteiam esses estudantes; d) investigar, por meio da aplicação do Inventário de Estilos Intelectuais-Revisado, subsídios para a criação de uma escala psicométrica específica como novo instrumento; e e) buscar evidências da estrutura interna para a amostra com alunos licenciandos em Música. As hipóteses aventadas foram: 1) A leitura à primeira vista pode ser avaliada por processos de construção e adaptação de instrumentos cognitivos? 2) É exequível a mensuração dos estilos intelectuais dos licenciandos em Música no Brasil por meio de suas preferências? 3) Existe correlação entre os modelos de estilos intelectuais e a leitura à primeira vista? Com relação ao método, inicialmente, após Leituras e fichamento de livros, teses, dissertações e artigos sobre Leitura à primeira vista e Estilos Intelectuais, a escrita dos dois primeiros capítulos foi viabilizada. Posteriormente, temos o Estudo Piloto; Adaptação e Validação Semântica do Thinking Styles Inventory – Revised II (TSI-R2) para as Licenciaturas em Música no Brasil. Construção e Validação Semântica e de Conteúdo da EALPV. A Análise de Dados e os Resultados foram de acordo com a metodologia utilizada e os aferimentos dos programas estatísticos MPLUS e SPSS. Os resultados apresentaram quatro dimensões para a adaptação dos estilos intelectuais e três dimensões para a EALPV, não configurando correlações. Após essas etapas, foi possível discutir e estabelecer as considerações finais.
The present research presents an investigation on the assessment of sight reading. The scope of this study sought, through the references of sight reading and Intellectual Styles, a establish correlation between these two constructs for internal confirmation of the items statistically used, which have already undergone semantic validation and finalized content. The general objective was to understand the cognitive styles of the assessment of sight reading of music undergraduates. More specifically: a) look for evidence of validity for the instruments in order to verify the variables brought in the present study; b) Raise the strategies used in sight reading; c) Identify the “Intellectual Styles” that guide these students; d) Investigate through the application of the Inventory of Intellectual Styles-Revised subsidies for the creation of a specific psychometric scale as a new instrument; and e) Search for evidence of the internal structure for the sample with undergraduate music students. The hypotheses put forward were: 1) Can sight-reading be evaluated by processes of construction and adaptation of cognitive instruments? 2) Is it feasible to measure the intellectual styles of music graduates in Brazil through their preferences? 3) Is there a correlation between the models of intellectual styles and sight reading? With regard to the method, initially after Readings and filing of books, theses, dissertations and articles on Reading at sight and Intellectual Styles, the writing of the first two chapters was made possible; Later we have the Pilot Study; Adaptation and Semantic Validation of the Thinking Styles Inventory – Revised II (TSI-R2) for Music Degrees in Brazil. Construction and Semantic and Content Validation of the EALPV. Data Analysis and Results were in accordance with the methodology used and the measurements of the statistical programs MPLUS and SPSS. The results showed four dimensions for the adaptation of intellectual styles and three dimensions for the EALPV, not configuring correlations. After these steps, it was possible to discuss and establish final considerations.
