Microbial Fuel Cell (MFC) has been shown a versatile, simplicity and good Columbic efficiency at the bioelectrochemical conversion of organic matter. However, its biological instability and sensibility restricts its use as a reliable clean energy source. The present work shows many studies that aim to better understand the parameters that influence the performance and the stability of MFC with auxiliar Lactobacillus Casei culture, aiming robustness and power density. The results point to an improvement of current extraction, compared to the reviewed literature, becoming an alternative to treating cheese mills waste water.
