Resumo
A presente dissertação consiste no relato de uma investigação teórica e histórica no campo psicanalítico, de caráter ensaístico, apoiada em uma revisão narrativa de literatura. Partindo da concepção de que concorrem os paradigmas pulsional e objetal na história da psicanálise e da obra freudiana, nossa intenção foi investigar e descrever as principais proposições de Freud e Abraham nos desdobramentos de uma teoria das pulsões em direção a uma teorização sobre as relações de objeto no período do entreguerras. Nesse contexto, Abraham se coloca como um dos principais interlocutores de Freud e um dos pioneiros a trabalhar a teoria pulsional articulada a uma teoria das relações de objeto, demonstrando, a partir do primado da metapsicologia freudiana, a importância dessa dinâmica para a compreensão da formação do caráter, das formações psicopatológicas e do desenvolvimento do amor objetal.
The present dissertation consists of the report of a theoretical and historical investigation in the psychoanalytic field, of an essayistic nature, supported by a narrative review of the literature. Starting from the conception that the instinct and object paradigms compete in the history of psychoanalysis and Freudian work, our intention was to investigate and describe the main propositions of Freud and Abraham in the unfolding of a theory of instincts towards a theorization about object relations in the interwar period. In this context, Abraham places himself as one of Freud's main interlocutors and one of the pioneers to work on the instinct theory articulated to a theory of object relations, demonstrating, from the primacy of Freudian metapsychology, the importance of this dynamic for understanding the formation character, psychopathological formations and the development of object love.
