Feminismos contemporâneos: os discursos e as práticas de grupos feministas em São Paulo

Resumo
Este estudo tem como objetivo analisar os discursos e as práticas de setores que compõem o amplo e heterogêneo movimento de mulheres – identificados nas ONGs feministas configuradas sobretudo na década de 1990. A partir dos discursos desses grupos buscamos compreender como determinadas representações são lançadas no espaço público, ou seja, quais as identidades e as práticas políticas e culturais que estas organizações criam para a sociedade e para as mulheres. Levando-se em conta a especificidade de cada grupo analisado, parte-se do pressuposto de que as propostas e atuações dessas organizações têm alargado as concepções e lutas que envolvem o campo dos direitos humanos e da justiça social. Entende-se que as experiências desses grupos evidenciam as potencialidades bem como os limites e ambigüidades do movimento feminista atual. Os grupos selecionados ilustram a pluralidade e os matizes dos discursos feministas contemporâneos bem como as tendências teóricas e organizacionais vivenciadas pelos grupos feministas no decorrer da década de 1990 até a atualidade.
The objective of this study is to analyze the representations and practices of the feminist groups acting within the ample and varied movement of women in our country, focusing, above all, on the timeframe between the 1990s and the present. We based our investigation around the feminist sub-field represented by the women NGOs, which, when inserted in the larger feminist field, gained visibility and political status. The groups selected for the field analysis were selected for their respective singularities and for their historical activities, by the themes they developed, as well as their recognition within the feminist field. Taking into account the specificity of each group analyzed, we started from the assumption that the proposals and activities of these organizations have stretched the concepts and challenges involving the fields of human rights and social justice. It is understood that the experiences of these groups demonstrate the potential as well as the limitations and contradictions of the current feminist movement, and collaborate, by means of their discourses and practices, to maintain alive the symbolic capital created by feminism.
