Resumo
Understanding the spatial patterns of cultures, based on topographic information and their interactions with environmental factors, can provide opportunities for specific management applications, and thus exploit the productive potential of plants. Thus, the objective of this study was to evaluate the influence of exposure, slope and irrigation on the growth of sugarcane in a “Experimental River Basin” using surfaces with north and south exposures and slopes with 0% 10%, 20%, 30%, 40% and 50% slope. Were evaluated biometric parameters, productivity and their interactions with radiation and the presence of irrigation. It was concluded that crop growth is positively influenced by exposure and water availability. The north exposure correlated to the PAR and the presence of irrigation positively influenced the growth of the plant, the stem diameter and the final yield.
