Resumo
This study aimed to analyze the inclusion of Environmental Education (EE) in brazilian the Youth and Adult Education (YAE) in the last ten years (2005-2014) and perform an overview of it. Therefore, research the type state of the art was done by selecting eight magazines according to their Qualis classification of CAPES, the selected articles, according to the topic of interest were analyzed and the overview of EE in YAE was done. Of all articles found in this period only 1.42% speak on the matter in question, these three involve non-formal education and six to formal education. The predominant type of research is participatory and activities involving theoretical and practical lessons, dynamics and games. The perception of the environment of those involved is naturalistic. It can be said that the insertion of EE in YEA in Brazil is something ignorant but necessary. It takes a more comprehensive research on the state of the art and the actual insertion of the EE in the YEA in the country.
