Abstract
This paper describes the developing of a low cost single phase power meter based on Currents' Physical Components Theory (CPC). The instrument use a 64-bit quad-core single board computer (ODROID-C2) to calculate the power terms from current and voltage transducers. Simulations results were carried out using Matlab software in order to assess the CPC. Moreover, the experimental results were carried out in order to assess the developed low cost instrument.
