Integração dentística-periodontia para resolução de problemas estéticos

A Odontologia estética avançou muito nos últimos anos, assim sendo a sua integração com a periodontia tem sido de grande valor na solução de problemas estéticos. A gengivectomia de bisel interno é indicada para remover grande quantidade de tecido fibrótico sem que haja comprometimento ósseo. O caso clínico a seguir tem por objetivo demonstrar a correção do nível de margem gengival “linha do sorriso”. Caso Clínico: paciente I. G. O. 48 anos, gênero feminino procurou a faculdade de Odontologia de Araçatuba (FOA) para confecção de prótese parcial fixa com objetivo de restabelecimento da dimensão vertical de oclusão e endodontia para posterior tratamento estético, que foi obtido através da gengivectomia de bisel interno de pré-molar direito a pré-molar esquerdo superior, associada a confecção de coroa total de canino. Após 120 dias foi dada a paciente a reabilitação estética, através da confecção de lentes de contato nos demais dentes. Através do exposto pode-se concluir que a associação da técnica de gengivectomia com o trabalho restaurador reabilitou a paciente tanto estética quanto funcionalmente.

Abstract (english)

The aesthetic dentistry progressed much in recent years, and therefore its integration with periodontics has been of great value in troubleshooting aesthetic. The gengivectomy of internal bevel is recommended to remove large amounts of fibrotic tissue with no bone involvement. The case below aims to demonstrate the correction of the gingival margin level of “smile line”. Case report: patient I. G. O 48 years, female, has look for the Araçatuba Dentistry College (FOA) for construction of partial fixed denture with the objective of restoring the vertical dimension of occlusion and subsequent endodontic treatment for aesthetic, wich was obtained throught the gengivectomy of internal bevel premolar right to left upper premolar, associated with the preparation of total canine crown. 120 days after was given to the patient the aesthetic rehabilitation, throught the manufacture of contact lenses in the other teeth. Throught the above we can conclude that the combination of gengivectomy technique with the work of restoring had rehabilitaded the patient both aesthetic as functionally.
