A origem do pensamento racional grego e o ensino de geometria

Abstract

O Trabalho de Conclusão de Curso intitulado “A origem do pensamento racional grego e o ensino de geometria” tem a finalidade de investigar como a Matemática se consolidou enquanto uma disciplina muito teórica e abstrata, sendo que é notório que há muitos alunos enfrentando dificuldades para aprender essa matéria nos diversos níveis de ensino. Em consideração a essa circunstância, essa pesquisa tem o intuito de identificar e sugerir alternativas sobre como conteúdos abstratos podem ser apresentados em uma aula e suas relações com o mundo físico, através da leitura e reflexão de muitas bibliografias especializadas sobre o tema, que tratam desta mesma questão ou questões próximas. Para tanto, será realizada uma pesquisa exploratória, visto que o assunto tratado é pouco explorado em artigos e teses.

The undergraduate thesis titled “The Origin of Greek Rational Thought and the Teaching of Geometry” aims to investigate how Mathematics became a highly theoretical and abstract discipline, given that many students face difficulties learning this subject at various educational levels. In light of this situation, the research seeks to identify and suggest alternatives for presenting abstract content in the classroom and its connections to the physical world, through the reading and reflection on numerous specialized bibliographies addressing this or related issues. To this end, an exploratory research approach will be undertaken, as the subject is relatively underexplored in existing articles and theses.
