Resumo
A compreensão do homem sobre seu meio ambiente varia de acordo com sua vivência e valores atribuídos aos acontecimentos, sendo única em razão das diferentes realidades que coexistem. O espaço geográfico no qual este homem se encontra inserido possui grande significado para si, pois é neste espaço, repleto de memórias e emoções, que acontece a relação homem/meio. Este é o seu espaço vivido. A presente tese tem como objetivo entender, através da Fenomenologia, a compreensão dos moradores da Comunidade Barra do Bento, que pertence ao distrito de Monte Alegre no município de Canindé-Ceará, sobre as intervenções realizadas pela instituição religiosa Igreja Batista Central (IBC) – Fortaleza/Ceará e Poder Público, em seu espaço geográfico, social, cultural e religioso. A comunidade de 160 habitantes, que dista 145 Km da capital, Fortaleza, viveu décadas de forma completamente isolada e sem condições mínimas de vida, como água, moradia digna e energia elétrica. A partir da intervenção da Igreja Batista Central (IBC), seguida do apoio do Poder Público, a pequena comunidade conquistou, em poucos anos, diversos direitos básicos à dignidade humana. Seu lugar transformou-se fisicamente com a construção de um açude, escola, casas em alvenaria, instalação de água encanadas para as residência, de energia elétrica e telefone público dentre outros benefícios. Nova visão do espaço, novos hábitos culturais, novos aspectos ligados à religião foram introjetados através da interferência da igreja evangélica, assim como ocorreram mudanças em aspectos da cidadania e na visão de mundo pelos moradores. Os instrumentos de investigação utilizados foram a entrevista e a observação, realizadas com 15 famílias da comunidade, a partir de um universo de 30 famílias...
Human beings understand the environment they live in according to their experience and values assigned to events, being unique because of the different realities that coexist. The geographical area in which this man is inserted has great meaning to him, because it is within this space, filled with memories and emotions, which happens the relationship between humanity and the environment. This is man`s lived space. This thesis aims to use Phenomenology to understanding the residents from the community Barra do Bento in the district Monte Alegre in Canindé-Ceará, on the interventions by the religious institution Igreja Batista Central (IBC) - Fortaleza/Ceará and the government, in its geographical, social, cultural and religious space. The small community, distant 145 km from the capital, Fortaleza, went through decades of complete isolation and without minimal living conditions, such as water, electricity and decent housing. Following the intervention of the Igreja Batista Central (IBC) and the support of the Government, the small community achieved in a few years, many basic rights to human dignity. The place changed physically with the construction of a dam, a school and the installation of electricity, among other benefits. New vision of space, new cultural practices and new aspects of religion were internalized through the interference of the evangelical church, as well as changes in some aspects of citizenship and the worldview of the residents occurred. The research instrument used was the interview and observation, which was conducted with 15 families in the community, from a universe of 30 families. Changes were identified in the design of the community residents about nature and the place, with the revaluation of its own land, through better living conditions arising from the intervention by IBC and the government
