Resumo
O estudo que ora se apresenta tem como objetivo compreender a dimensão socioeducativa do trabalho do/a assistente social no CRAS do município de Guaxupé/MG, sob o olhar do usuário da política de Assistência Social em acompanhamento pelo referido equipamento público. Este estudo traz para a discussão a metodologia de educação popular como uma importante estratégia para a realização do trabalho com famílias, especialmente na área da Assistência Social. O interesse pelo tema se deve, pois, a pesquisadora trabalha como assistente social do referido CRAS e busca perceber como o usuário vê o trabalho realizado e se a dimensão socioeducativa está contribuindo para a melhoria das condições de vida das famílias, dada a intervenção do Serviço Social no campo da ideologia. Assim, os usuários que participaram do estudo buscaram contribuir com o desvelar da dimensão socioeducativa do trabalho do/a assistente social. Outros objetivos do presente estudo foram: verificar a materialização do trabalho socioeducativo no CRAS; investigar a educação popular como metodologia de trabalho com famílias e entender a política de assistência social como espaço para efetivação de direitos, passando pelo conhecimento do perfil das famílias referenciadas no CRAS de Guaxupé/MG. Para tanto, o método utilizado foi o materialista histórico-dialético, pois considera-se que este método possibilita o conhecimento da realidade em sua totalidade com as contradições que lhes são inerentes. Foi utilizada a pesquisa bibliográfica com revisão de literatura, a pesquisa documental e a pesquisa de campo, sendo qualitativa e para a recolha dos dados buscou-se o recurso do grupo focal, como forma de interação entre os participantes, pois acredita-se que este permite a vivência de trocas e construção de opiniões entre os participantes da pesquisa. Para a análise do material obtido foi utilizado a categorização dos dados. Os resultados obtidos com este estudo permitem compreender que a política de assistência social pode contribuir para a emancipação humana dos indivíduos, entretanto, a realização do trabalho socioeducativo depende do profissional que o realiza e sua forma de perceber a realidade que está posta e desenvolver estratégias de intervenção que podem ser conservadoras ou emancipatórias.
The purpose of this study is to understand the social and educational dimension of the work of the social worker in the CRAS of Guaxupé / MG, under the watchful eye of the Social Assistance policy being monitored by the aforementioned public equipment. This study brings to the discussion the methodology of popular education as an important strategy for carrying out the work with families, especially in the area of Social Assistance. The interest in the subject is therefore, the researcher works as a social worker of the CRAS and seeks to understand how the user sees the work done and if the socio-educational dimension is contributing to the improvement of the living conditions of the families, given the intervention of the Service In the field of ideology. Thus, the users who participated in the study sought to contribute to the unveiling of the socio-educational dimension of the work of the social worker. Other objectives of the present study were: to verify the materialization of socio-educational work in CRAS; To investigate popular education as a methodology for working with families and to understand the social assistance policy as a space for effecting rights, through the knowledge of the profile of the families referenced in the CRAS of Guaxupé / MG. For this, the method used was the historical-dialectical materialist, since it is considered that this method makes possible the knowledge of reality in its totality with the inherent contradictions. We used bibliographic research with literature review, documentary research and field research, being qualitative and to collect the data we sought the focal group's resource, as a form of interaction between the participants, since it is believed that this Allows the experience of exchanges and building opinions among the participants of the research. For the analysis of the obtained material was used the categorization of the data. The results obtained with this study allow us to understand that the social assistance policy can contribute to the human emancipation of individuals, however, the accomplishment of socio-educational work depends on the professional that performs it and its way of perceiving the reality that is posed and developing strategies of Which may be conservative or emancipatory.
