Educação e trabalho no ensino médio noturno em Franca/SP: desafios para as políticas públicas de desenvolvimento social no Brasil

Resumo
Este trabalho busca compreender a relação entre educação e trabalho no Ensino Médio noturno na cidade de Franca/SP. Para tanto, foi feito uma pesquisa, por meio de questionário para o levantamento dos dados referentes à realidade dos alunos de primeiro ano do Ensino Médio. Os alunos do primeiro ano foram escolhidos por se tratar de parcela de alunos mais vulneráveis aos problemas relacionados ao primeiro emprego. Os dados da pesquisa revelaram certa desigualdade de ensino entre os alunos que estudavam no período diurno e os que estudavam no período noturno. Para a compreensão dessa realidade relacionamos os temas da desigualdade educacional e sua reprodução com os desafios do Ensino Médio noturno. Buscamos compreender também o papel do emprego na vida desses estudantes. Os alunos do noturno que trabalham e estudam estão mais expostos aos sofrimentos da exploração e da informalidade. Esses problemas se refletem na escola, os alunos estudam cansados por terem trabalhado o dia todo. Outro fator que compromete o rendimento desses alunos é a própria estruturação do Ensino Médio noturno, os alunos estudam menos horas que seus colegas do diurno. As políticas púbicas de desenvolvimento social se inserem nesse contexto como forma de promover a qualidade da educação apoiando ações que estão para além dos problemas de dentro da sala de aula. As questões sociais de desigualdade social e econômica são fatores que determinam a relação aluno-escola. O papel das políticas públicas de desenvolvimento social é equalizar essas disparidades sociais e econômicas no sentido de promover condições iguais de acesso e permanência desses alunos na escola. Portanto, os temas relacionados à educação e à exploração do trabalho e como tudo isso influencia a vida dos alunos na escola são os temas dessa pesquisa.
This study seeks to understand the relationship between education and work in nighttime secondary school in the municipality of Franca, State of São Paulo. For this purpose, it was performed a research by a way of a questionnaire for the survey of data relating to the reality of the students in their first year of high school. Students in the first year were chosen for being part of those who were more vulnerable to problems related to the first job. The survey data revealed some inequality of education among students who were studying during the day and those who were studying at night. To understand this reality we related the themes of educational inequality and its reproduction with the challenges of Secondary School at night. We also seek to understand the role of employment in the lives of these students. The students of the night shift working and studying are more exposed to the sufferings of exploitation and informality. These problems are reflected in the school, the students go study so tired for having worked all day. Another factor that affects the yield of these students is the very structure of the Secondary School, students study less hours than their colleagues in the daytime. The public policies for social development fall within this context as a way of promoting the quality of education by supporting actions that are in addition to the problems from inside the classroom. The social issues of social and economic inequality are factors that determine the relationship student-school. The role of public policies on social development is to equalize these social disparities in order to promote equal conditions of access and permanence of these students in the school. Therefore, the issues related to education and the exploitation of the work and how all of this affects the lives of students in school are the themes of this research.
