Narrativa bíblica no audiovisual: uma análise da tradução intersemiótica na telenovela Os Dez Mandamentos

Resumo
A telenovela é um formato televisivo com história consolidada no meio audiovisual brasileiro, há mais de 50 anos. Em recente momento dessa história, a Rede Record de Televisão realiza com a produção de “Os Dez Mandamentos” (2015), a primeira adaptação de uma narrativa bíblica para este formato. Atendo-se às questões de narratividade, este trabalho investiga como a narrativa bíblica com características de condensação, se concretiza em outra estrutura narrativa marcadamente caracterizada pela expansão. Para isso, adota-se o referencial teórico-metodológico da semiótica discursiva de linha francesa, partindo da análise das estruturas mais abstratas do nível narrativo para o nível discursivo, onde são abordados os procedimentos enunciativos presentes em ambos os textos da tradução intersemiótica em questão, ou seja, o literário e o audiovisual. O trabalho revela uma ampliação dos percursos narrativos corroborados por isotopias temáticas e figurativas.
The soap opera is a television format with a consolidated history in the Brazilian audiovisual medium for more than 50 years. In a recent moment in this history, Rede Record de Televisão produced "The Ten Commandments" (2015), the first adaptation of a biblical narrative for this format. Taking into account the issues of narrativity, this work investigates how the biblical narrative, with characteristics of condensation, is manifested in another narrative structure markedly characterized by expansion. For this, the theoreticalmethodological referential of the French discursive semiotics is adopted, parting from the analysis of the most abstract structures from the narrative level to the discursive level, where are adressed the enunciative procedures present in both texts of the intersemiotic translation, that is, the literary and the audiovisual texts. The work reveals an expansion of the narrative paths corroborated by thematic and figurative isotopies.
