Environmental values in child education
Abstract
The research presented here contemplates a look at teaching practices - direct actions of teachers with preschool children and the dialogues resulting from these actions, considering the child as a socio-historical being, seeking to understand the senses that are constructed from these practices and the possibilities and limits of these teaching practices for the construction of values focused on the environment. Thus, in order to address these objectives, I analyzed the dialogues between pre-school teachers and their students, aged 4-5, in which the environmental theme was presented, focusing on the values evidenced in these practices. In this paper, I bring a research cut presenting the analysis of one of the seven teachers who seems to direct their practices for a more aesthetic bias.
