THE DIDACTICS IN THE BRAZIL: HISTORICAL TRAJECTORY AND CHALLENGES IN THE LIGHT OF THE DIDACTICS OF THE SEVENTEENTH CENTURY

Resumo
This paper discusses aspects of the historical trajectory of didactics in the Brazil, as a field of knowledge and as a discipline in the training courses for teachers and some challenges posed to our basic education, in the light of the contributions of Didactics of the seventeenth century. The guiding idea of didacticism rooted in a transformative teaching dimension, therefore, in its social and political dimension, a vision of man, education, society and world is a seventeenth-century legacy for education and teaching, but, especially in the Brazilian case, still needs to be appropriated by teachers. In this sense, we carried out our research in schools of Basic Education and centered in the disciplines or bodies of knowledge properly considered as the didactics in the teacher training institutions in the Brazil, between 1827 and 2011. It is therefore, results of the historical and bibliographical research's, developed through procedures for locating, identifying, retrieving, herding, selection, organization, analysis and interpretation of the literature on didactics in the Brazil.
