Parâmetros para a construção de linguagens documentárias inclusivas em bibliotecas universitárias: uma análise das questões sobre acessibilidade que envolvem o usuário com deficiência visual

Resumo
Realizou-se um estudo sobre acessibilidade de deficientes visuais em bibliotecas universitárias, visando discutir questões referentes à linguagem documentária e os serviços relacionados a ela. O problema abordado na pesquisa aponta os requisitos que uma linguagem documentária e os serviços relacionados a ela como o catálogo online, o acervo, o atendimento e o espaço físico da biblioteca precisam ter para serem acessíveis aos usuários com deficiência visual. Objetiva-se a partir desses parâmetros acesso a informação adequadas às reais necessidades dos usuários com deficiência visual. Esta pesquisa justifica-se, pelo fato de as pessoas com deficiência visual terem o direito de ocupar seu espaço na sociedade e usufruir dos serviços prestados pelas instituições como as universidades e suas bibliotecas de maneira mais independente, outro ponto relevante é a presença cada vez maior de alunos com deficiência visual dentro das universidades, e esses alunos necessitam do suporte da biblioteca, para concluírem seus cursos e, por fim o compromisso da Ciência da Informação que é garantir o acesso à informação para todos, sem distinção. A pesquisa é teórica aplicada com natureza exploratória e descritiva, utilizando procedimentos bibliográficos para coleta de dados e análise qualitativa da informação. Ao final, foram apresentados cinco parâmetros para a acessibilidade de usuários com deficiência visual em bibliotecas universitárias: Políticas de construção de linguagem documentária inclusiva, Acessibilidade do catálogo online, Acessibilidade ao Acervo para usuários com deficiência visual, Treinamento de bibliotecários e usuários com deficiência visual e Preparação do espaço físico. Os parâmetros apresentam, respectivamente, a importância de verificar por meio de estudos o perfil do usuário com deficiência visual e suas reais necessidades e incluí-las na política de indexação da biblioteca no momento da construção da linguagem documentária para que ela seja inclusiva a esses usuários, que o catálogo online seja acessível fazendo uso de tecnologias assistivas adequadas às necessidades dos usuários com deficiência visual da biblioteca. E, assim, possibilitando sua autonomia na busca por assunto, que o acervo da biblioteca seja acessível, portanto assegurando o acesso pleno ao acervo, também oferecer um treinamento para bibliotecários e usuários com deficiência visual sobre o uso dos serviços acessíveis disponíveis na biblioteca e, por fim, garantir a acessibilidade do espaço da biblioteca para receber esses usuários e possibilitar seu acesso à busca por informação. Como considerações finais apresenta-se a importância da acessibilidade dos serviços prestados pela biblioteca para os usuários com deficiência visual, para que eles realizem suas buscas com autonomia e tenham acesso a todo o acervo da biblioteca, isso possibilita uma equiparidade de oportunidades e um suporte em sua trajetória acadêmica, uma linguagem documentária inclusiva que represente as reais necessidades dos usuários e contribua para uma busca satisfatória e eficaz, mas é preciso pensar também na acessibilidade dos serviços diretamente relacionados à ela, pois sem essa ampla acessibilidade, o trabalho realizado pela linguagem documentária inclusiva fica incompleto e o acesso à informação não é finalizado.
A study was carried out on the accessibility of the visually impaired in university libraries, aiming to discuss issues related to documentary language and the services related to it. The problem addressed in the research points out the requirements that a documentary language and the services related to it, such as the online catalog, the collection, the attendance and the physical space of the library must have to be accessible to visually impaired users. The objective of these parameters is to access information appropriate to the real needs of visually impaired users. This research is justified by the fact that people with visual impairments have the right to occupy their space in society and enjoy the services provided by institutions such as universities and their libraries in a more independent way, another relevant point is the increasing presence of visually impaired students within universities, and these students need the support of the library to complete their courses and, finally, the commitment of Information Science, which is to guarantee access to information for all, without distinction. The research is applied theoretical with exploratory and descriptive nature, using bibliographic procedures for data collection and qualitative analysis of information. At the end, five parameters were presented for the accessibility of visually impaired users in university libraries: Inclusive documentary language construction policies, Accessibility of the online catalog, Accessibility to the Collection for visually impaired users, Training of librarians and visually impaired users and Preparation of physical space. The parameters present, respectively, the importance of verifying, through studies, the profile of visually impaired users and their real needs and including them in the library's indexing policy at the time of building the documentary language so that it is inclusive to these users , that the online catalog is accessible using assistive technologies appropriate to the needs of visually impaired users of the library. And, thus, allowing their autonomy in the search for a subject, that the library's collection is accessible, thus ensuring full access to the collection, it also offers training for librarians and visually impaired users on the use of accessible services available in the library and, finally, to guarantee the accessibility of the library space to receive these users and enable their access to the search for information. As final considerations, the importance of the accessibility of the services provided by the library to visually impaired users is presented, so that they can carry out their searches independently and have access to the entire library collection, this allows for a match of opportunities and support in its academic trajectory, an inclusive documentary language that represents the real needs of users and contributes to a satisfactory and effective search, but it is also necessary to think about the accessibility of services directly related to it, because without this wide accessibility, the work done by the documentary language inclusive is incomplete and access to information is not finalized.
