A mistura ArHe25
This work presents the study of the influence of concentration in the mixture of Helium and Argon gases in the TIG / MIG (Tungsten in Inert Gas / Metal in Inert Gas) processes in copper (Cu) welding. The main objective is to evaluate the mechanical properties of the welded joint using 3 different concentrations of the mixture: ArHe75 (75% Helium + 25% Argon), ArHe50 (50% Helium + 50% Argon) and ArHe25 (25 % Helium + 75% Argon). The analysis follows in accordance with the ASME IX - 2019 standard, which is the criterion for the manufacture of specimens, testing methodology and acceptance criteria for the evaluation of gases. The ArHe25 mixture was the most beneficial to weld, due to the increase in tensile strength caused by the increase in the concentration of argon, being also a more economically viable composition
