no crescimento do tumor, angiogênese, protocolos terapêuticos e outros. Neste trabalho, revemos
According to the World Health Organization, breast cancer is the most diagnosed cancer around the world, besides being the incident in all regions of Brazil. The factors that pose the greatest risk for development are age, obesity, age at menarche and menopause, geographic location, radiation exposure rate, heredity, genetic mutations, estrogen levels, and monetary issues. Mathe matical models are important as they can provide contributions to cancer research by assisting in understanding the mechanisms that are involved in tumor growth, angiogenesis, therapeutic protocols, and others. In this paper, we review two well-known Ordinary Differential Equations mathematical models related to breast cancer.
