Resumo
O presente trabalho de conclusão de curso teve como objetivo relatar a vivência do estágio curricular da discente. O estágio foi realizado em duas clínicas particulares localizadas no município do Rio de Janeiro/RJ, sob orientação do mesmo médico veterinário, doutor Wanderley Severo, referência na área da ortopedia veterinária. O relato de caso foi sobre um cão apresentando ruptura do ligamento cruzado cranial, afecção que foi tratada utilizando a técnica de osteotomia niveladora do platô tibial (TPLO).
This course completion work aimed to report the experience of the student's curricular internship. The internship was carried out in two private clinics located in the city of Rio de Janeiro/RJ, under the guidance of the same veterinarian, Dr. Wanderley Severo, a reference in the field of veterinary orthopedics. The case report was about a dog presenting rupture of the cranial cruciate ligament, a condition that was treated using the tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO) technique.
