Resumo
Seguindo o debate iluminista a instrução funcionaria como escultor da nova sociedade. Cabe ao povo gerir e proteger a Nação, e à escola é transferida a tarefa de legitimar este processo de adesão ao Estado, a fim de formar uma sociedade calcada nos princípios patrióticos, ou seja, na formação de homens que saibam lutar pela liberdade e a felicidade de sua pátria. Verificando a trajetória da Educação nos países europeus, com o surgimento de novas abordagens sobre a pedagogia, decorrente das profundas transformações que ocorrem neste período, a educação se torna o centro da vida social. Nela se organizam os processos de conformação das normas coletivas, se opera a continuidade da cultura, onde os indivíduos superam sua individualidade se integrando à coletividade, e recebem instrumentos que conferem o dinamismo de suas ações para a resolução dos problemas vivenciados na sociedade.Com o objetivo de discutir a Formação do Estado Nacional Brasileiro, através do estudo das práticas de ensino primário secundário e superior, apresentamos o estudo sobre a instrução pública dirigida aos habitantes das províncias brasileiras no período de 1822 a 1831. Também verificamos a eficácia deste novo ideal atribuído às práticas educacionais, através da visualização dos métodos de ensino adotados e sua distribuição por todo o Estado e implantação dos cursos jurídicos em São Paulo e Olinda. As fontes que fundamentam esta pesquisa são as Leis e Decisões do Império do Brasil, que através da quantificação dos dados e mapeamento das localidades em que são atribuídas as cadeiras de ensino, fornecem informações sobre a instrução no Brasil e os procedimentos tomados pelo governo a fim de promovê-la nacionalmente.
Following the illuminist debate, the instruction, would function like the sculptor of the new society. It falls to the people manage and protect to Nation, and to the school is transferred the task of legitimize this process of adhesion to the State, in order to form a society compressed in the patriotic beginnings, otherwise, in the formation of men that are going to fight to the liberty and the happiness of its homeland. Verifying the path of the Education in the European countries, with the sprouting of new approaches about the education, resulting of the deep transformations that occur in this period, the education becomes the social life center. On it the trials of the collective norms conformation are organized, the continuity of the culture is operated, where the individuals exceed their individuality being integrated to the collectivity, and receive instruments that confer the dynamism of their actions for the resolution of the problems lived in the society. With the objective to discuss the Brazilian National State formation, through the study of the practices of primary, secondary and superior teaching, we present the Public instruction study driven to the inhabitants of the Brazilian provinces in the period of 1822 to 1831. We also verify the efficacy of this new ideal attributed to the educational practices, trough the viewing of the educational approaches adopted and its distribution by the whole State and the implantation of the legal courses in São Paulo and Olinda. The sources that substantiate this research are the Laws and Decisions of the Empire of Brazil, that through the data quantification and mapping localities that are attributed the educational chains, supply information about the instruction in Brazil and the procedures taken by the government in order to promote it nationally.
