Estudo comparativo do índice cortical medular do tecido ósseo humano por meio dos níveis de cinza de tomografias convencionais e computadorizadas

Resumo
A proposta dessa pesquisa foi estabelecer índices do tecido ósseo humano obtidos a partir da razão entre os valores dos níveis de cinza do tecido ósseo da base pelo tecido ósseo esponjoso da mandíbula, bem como realizar o estudo da maxila por meio do razão entre a cortical óssea da fossa nasal pelo tecido ósseo esponjoso para as mesmas regiões e avaliar sua variação em função da localização anatômica e o tipo de tomógrafo utilizado (OP100-Instrumentarium®, Scanora® e Newtom3G). A amostra foi constituída de 126 cortes tomográficos convencionais e computadorizados de pacientes que foram subdivididos em 63 cortes para a mandíbula e 63 para a maxila. A análise estatística dos dados para verificação do erro do método não foi significante, validando a metodologia proposta e atestando sua reprodutibilidade; o teste de análise de variância ANOVA de 2 fatores verificou que só houve diferenças estatísticamente significantes entre os índices cortical/medular (Ic/m) da mandíbula e maxila, sendo que não houve diferenças sgnificativas dos índices para os tomógrafos. Concluímos que o índice proposto não apresenta variações quanto à natureza do exame radiográfico em que foi mensurada a densidade óssea e que o mesmo varia de acordo com sua ocorrência (mandíbula> Ic/m>maxila).
The aim of this research was calculate indices of bone human tissue from the ledger of gray scale values by basis cortical tissue and medular tissue of the mandible, as well as, establish a study of the maxilla from the ledge between cortical tissue of nasal cavity and medular tissue for the same regions, assessment anatomical region and differents tomographs (OP100- Instrumentarium®, Scanora® e Newtom3G). The sample consisted in 126 conventional and computerized tomographics image, 63 of the mandible and 63 of the maxilla. The statistical analysis have not showed significant differences from the method, so it is reproductible for the same examiner; ANOVA(variancy analyses )demonstrated statistically significant differences between the indices of mandible and maxilla,but, have not demonstrated statistically significant differences between the tomographs indices. In conclusion, the proposal indice don t show variations related with the kind of tomographs what it was measured the osseous density and it changes in agreement with the circumstance of the mandible and maxilla.
