Resumo
Dados historiográficos sobre a instituição familiar no Brasil revelam que, paralelamente às famílias burguesa e patriarcal, modelos familiares considerados padrões no país, coexistiu uma diversidade de arranjos familiares que não eram reconhecidos oficialmente como famílias, dentre eles as famílias monoparentais femininas. A formação da família brasileira e, as suas configurações familiares na atualidade, enfocando a família monoparental feminina é o tema abordado por este estudo. A constituição da família brasileira contou com a colaboração de vários povos resultando numa variedade étnica e cultural, influenciando os hábitos, costumes e valores da família contemporânea. Além do legado histórico-cultural, a instituição familiar é influenciada pela conjuntura sócio-econômica e política da sociedade. A família monoparental feminina se insere nesse contexto, apresentando porém algumas particularidades. Para adentrar no universo das famílias monoparentais femininas, buscando desvendar as relações intra e extra-familiares, a sua rotina e seus valores utilizamos como aporte científico a pesquisa qualitativa. Foram realizadas entrevistas com cinco mães-chefes de família que, através de seus þolhares` relataram sobre diversos aspectos de seu cotidiano: trabalho, organizações governamentais e não- governamentais, participação da família ampliada na interação monoparental, paternidade e socialização. Nessa configuração familiar, as mulheres assumem a global responsabilidade dos cuidados com os filhos, sendo a mãe-chefe de família a principal provedora econômica e a promotora da educação e socialização dos filhos. Historigraphical data about the familiar institution in Brazil reveal that parallelly the bourgeois and patriarchal families, familiar models considered as standard in the country coexisted a diversity of familiar arrangements that were not officially recognized as families, among them the monoparentals feminine. The structure of the Brazilian family and her familiar configurations in the present, focusing a feminine monoparental family is the broaching in this subject. The constitution of the Brazilian family received the collaboration of many different people resulting in an ethnic and cultural variety, influencing the habits, customs and values of the contemporanian family. Besides the historic-cultural legacy, the familiar institution is also influenced by the political, social-economical conjuncture of the society. The feminine monoparental family is adapted in the context, but has some particularities. To enter the universe of the feminine monoparentals families, trying to reveal the inter and extra-familiar relationships and her routine and values, we make use as scientific the qualitative research. It was realized interviews with five mother-chiefs of families that through their point of views related the different aspects of their everyday life, work, governamental and non-governamental organizations, participation of the amplified family in the monoparental interaction, paternity and socialization. In this familiar configuration, women assume a global responsibility about the care of the children, being the mother-chief of the family and the principal economical prover and the supporter of the education and socialization of them (children). The father, remains a distant figure of this monoparental interaction, but there is a call to construct a place for a more present father, a father who participates of the relationships between father-son, for the mothers mention...(Complete abstract click electronic access below)
