dc.description.abstractAn orthonormal set of single-nucleon orbital functions, explicity satisfying the Hartree-Fock equations for occupied states, is introduced and shown to display, assuming several parameterizations of the Skyrme interaction, α-clustering effects at low densities in nuclear matter.
