Fracture occurs most often in the middle-third of the root and rarely at the apical-third. The present paper reports a clinical case of a horizontal radicular fracture located between the middle- and apical-third of a upper left-central incisor followed-up for over 3 years. The tooth was extracted owing to periodontal reasons. Histomorphologically, it showed pulp-vitality preservation and root healing by hard-tissue deposition.98-102engdental traumahorizontal root fracturerepair of root fractureRepair characteristics of horizontal root fracture: a case reportArtigo10.1034/j.1600-9657.2002.00071.xWOS:000174931100010Acesso restrito41857768881679965007703439443544
