The method is applied to the control of a non-trivial dc-dc power converter and a simple and inexpensive control circuit design, that was simulated using the software PSpice, is proposed. The design is based on Lyapunov-Metzler-SPR systems and the performance of the resulting control system is superior to that afforded by a recently proposed alternative sliding-mode control technique. © 2011 IFAC.11048-11054engDC-DC convertersLMIsLyapunov-Metzler inequalitiesStrictly positive real systemsSwitched systemsVariable structure controlContinuous timeControl circuitsControl methodsDC-DC power converterNon-trivialStrictly positive realSwitched systemVariable structure controllerSPICEState feedbackSwitching systemsDesign and implementation of a dc-dc converter based on variable structure control of switched systemsTrabalho apresentado em evento10.3182/20110828-6-IT-1002.02194Acesso aberto2-s2.0-84866747548875516058014262650620873805714620000-0002-1072-3814
