A finalidade da proposta é reforçar os conceitos básicos de funções, como a relação do conjunto domínio e imagem da função e a relação de dependência de uma variável, e visa mostrar uma possibilidade de desenvolver o tema de função polinomial de primeiro grau nas aulas de Matemática através da utilização do jogo intitulado Bingo das Funções. O jogo é uma adaptação do tradicional jogo de bingo para uma versão que proporciona a abordagem de um conteúdo matemático.
