Considering the postmoderns proposals of reviewing the canon, we mark the necessity of a homoerotism inclusion as one of the most fundamental theme for the comprehension of the actual literary production in Portugal.A partir de uma leitura da ficção portuguesa contemporânea, após o evento da Revolução dos Cravos, em 1974, percebe-se uma abertura dos meios literários e acadêmicos para o tratamento de temas, antes silenciados pela ditadura do Estado Novo.
