Several techniques and materials allow achievement of excellent function and esthetics. In the case of maxillary or mandibular atrophy, extensive grafting may be necessary before implants can be properly placed. This is a case of maxillary reconstruction with autogenous iliac crest bone grafts, followed by placement of guided implants.
