Entretanto, as velhas formas de religiosidade popular resistiram, mantendo ainda hoje uma inesgotável fonte de devoção e de fé.The tridentine and roman authoritarian catholicism is the main subject of this present article, wich will focus the first decades of the XX century of the Brazilian catholic culture.
