Historically, there has been a tendency for musical activities to join in urban spaces, in the most diverse regions of the globe. As well as the city, the music must also be understood as a social creation, full of symbolic, creative and territorial elements. The present article investigates the relationship between city and music and it is structured in three sections, presenting three approaches for the study: the first entitled The Creation of The Cities: urban space and musical activities, the second The Creation in The Cities: creative cities of the music and the third Creative Activities and Territorial Development: Music and Territory in Tatui City, Sao Paulo State.
