For the slowly varying trap, synchronization of oscillations of the trap with oscillations of the relative population was predicted. Using the Melnikov approach, the appearance of the chaotic oscillations in the tunneling phenomena between the condensates was confirmed.023613-023611engAtomsChaos theoryElectron resonanceElectron trapsElectron tunnelingFunctionsMathematical modelsNumerical analysisOscillationsQuantum theoryBose-Einstein condensatesCoherent atomic oscillationsMelnikov function approachQuantum tunnelingTime dependent trapping potentialElectron gasCoherent atomic oscillations and resonances between coupled Bose-Einstein condensates with time-dependent trapping potentialArtigo10.1103/PhysRevA.62.023613WOS:000088683400095Acesso aberto2-s2.0-00342486512-s2.0-183443687002-s2.0-0034248651.pdf
