The divergence of these sequences from the canonical P element of Drosophila melanogaster is about 31% at the nucleotide level. Phylogenetic analysis revealed that both elements belong to a clade of divergent sequences from the saltans and willistoni groups previously described by other authors.373-377engD. sturtevantiD. prosaltansfull-size P elementphylogenyCharacterization of two full-sized P elements from Drosophila sturtevanti and Drosophila prosaltansArtigo10.1590/S1415-47572004000300011S1415-47572004000300011Acesso abertoS1415-47572004000300011.pdf34257729983192160000-0002-0298-1354
