Este estágio foi realizado no Laboratório de Microbiologia da FAMERP, sob orientação da Profª Drª Margarete Teresa Gottardo de Almeida e supervisão da Profª Drª Patricia Simone Leite Vilamaior. Durante o estágio, pude ter contato com profissionais experientes na área e com o conhecimento que possuem a respeito do trabalho que fazem. Com auxílio dos protocolos e da ajuda destes profissionais, aprendi sobre as técnicas básicas de biossegurança e operação de equipamentos; a produção de soluções utilizadas comumente no laboratório; a produção de meios de cultura para o crescimento microbiano; e as técnicas para a triagem e a identificação de fungos patogênicos. De maneira geral, o estágio foi extremamente proveitoso, gerando um enorme crescimento profissional e pessoal.The training internship offers students the opportunity to experience working in their desired professional field, such as in a laboratory. This internship was carried out at FAMERP’s Laboratory of Microbiology, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Margarete Teresa Gottardo de Almeida and Prof. Dr. Patricia Simone Leite Vilamaior. During the internship, I was able to have contact with experienced professionals in the field and the knowledge they have about the work they do. With the help of their protocols and their assistance, I learned about basic biosafety techniques and equipment operation; the production of solutions commonly used in the lab; the production of culture media for microbial growth; and techniques for screening and identifying pathogenic fungi.
