Large two-photon absorption coefficients, α2, were determined at 660 nm using nanosecond laser pulses. It was observed that α2 increases for increasing tungsten oxide concentrations and therefore the optical limiting performance of this new glass composition can be controlled.107-108engChemical bondsDye lasersLaser beamsLight absorptionNonlinear opticsPhosphatesPhotonsTungsten compoundsAbsorption coefficientsFluorophosphate glassesOptical limiting (OL) materialsOptical transientsOptical glassOptical limiting behavior of tungstate fluorophosphate glassesTrabalho apresentado em evento10.1117/12.525510Acesso aberto2-s2.0-23426147872998503841917815
