A aplicação da técnica foi satisfatória, uma vez que resultou em melhora no quadro clínico oftalmológico sem que houvesse mínimas intercorrências pós-operatórias.The effect of the transplant of minor salivary gland (TGSM) in carrying dogs of dry ceratoconjuntivite (CCS) and the effect of these used glands as alternative for ocular lubrication have been studied. The transplantation of the salivary gland in dogs with keratoconjunctivitis sicca (KCS) was reported and clinical effects of the salivary secretion as ocular lubricant for the relief of the disease were studied.
