Com o objetivo de investigar a hidroquímica das águas subterrâneas de Manaus, para caracterizar e avaliar a qualidade dos recursos hídricos em subsuperfície, aferiram-se os parâmetros físicos, físico-químicos e químicos das amostras de águas de poços tubulares selecionados. Os resultados obtidos dos parâmetros analisados mostraram que as águas estudadas são excelentes para consumo humano e industrial, por situarem-se dentro dos limites de potabilidade estabelecidos pela legislação vigente.The city of Manaus is located nearly in the central part of the Amazon basin, whose water supply is accomplished by the Águas do Amazonas, being made by reception of Rio Negro superficial drainage and for tubular wells, that explore aquifers constituted by the Formation Alter Alter do Chão. With the objective of investigating is to evaluate the hydrochemistry in groundwaters from Manaus, to characterize and to evaluate the quality of the hydrological resources in sub-surface, it was confronted the parameters physical, physical-chemical and chemical of the samples of waters of selected tubular wells.
