The first one is identify and understand the concept of advertising in that context, especially the one that was used to attracting immigrants for the work in the Emperor. And the second is to analyze the thinking of the Sociedade Central de Immigracao (SCI). Their texts was published at the report A Immigracao, official periodic of the institution, and in their immigrant guide broadcast in Europe.
