Resumo
Nas últimas décadas, os debates acerca da inclusão dos alunos com deficiência nas instituições de ensino vêm se potencializando. A produção de pesquisas foi igualmente se expandindo, com estudos concentrados principalmente na educação de níveis básico e médio, mas as investigações sobre a inclusão do aluno com deficiência nas instituições de Ensino Superior começam a tomar vulto no Brasil. O presente trabalho apresenta uma análise das atitudes sociais discentes frente ao acolhimento do aluno com deficiência no campus da UNESP de Presidente Prudente/SP. Os objetivos do estudo consistiram em analisar e comparar as atitudes sociais dos estudantes daquele campus em relação à inclusão, realizar um mapeamento dos alunos com deficiência lá inseridos (quantos são os deficientes, em quais cursos estão matriculados, qual o tipo de deficiência e grau de comprometimento) e investigar o sentimento de acolhimento desses estudantes com deficiência no campus. Estavam matriculados na instituição no ano de 2011 quatro alunos com deficiência, nos seguintes cursos: Ciência da Computação, Educação Física, Geografia e Pedagogia. Foram participantes deste estudo 207 alunos, divididos em dois grupos: o G1, constituído por 101 alunos alocados em quatro salas de aula onde há alunos com deficiência matriculados, e o G2, composto por 106 alunos de quatro salas de aulas dos mesmos cursos, onde não há aluno com deficiência. Com vistas a alcançar os objetivos propostos foram utilizados dois instrumentos para a coleta de dados, a Escala Likert de Atitudes Sociais em relação a Inclusão e um questionário. The debates on inclusion of students with disabilities in educational institutions have been increasing in recent decades. Research production was also expanding, with studies focused primarily on education of elementary and secondary levels, but research on the inclusion of disabled students in higher education institutions are beginning to emerge in Brazil. This work presents an analysis of students‘ social attitudes facing to the students with disabilities at UNESP Presidente Prudente/SP campus. The aims of the study were to analyze and compare the social attitudes of the students from that campus regarding the inclusion, to perform a mapping of students with disabilities placed there (how many are the disabled, in which courses they are enrolled, what type of disability and degree of impairment) and to investigate the feeling of reception of these students with disabilities on the campus. Four students with disabilities were enrolled in the institution in the year 2011 in the following courses: Computer Science, Physical Education, Geography and Education. Participants in this study were 207 students, divided into two groups: G1, comprising 101 students in four classrooms where there are students with disabilities, and G2, consisting of 106 students from four classrooms of the same courses, where there are no students with disabilities. To achieve the proposed objectives, two instruments were used to the data collection, the Likert Scale of Social Attitudes regarding to inclusion and a questionnaire. The scores were treated by the Mann- Whitney and Kruskal-Wallis non-parametric statistical tests and a questionnaire based on content analysis. The results revealed no statistically significant differences in the scores of subgroups corresponding to the Physical Education and Geography courses...
