Educação ambiental e educação de jovens e adultos: um estudo a partir de teses e dissertações

Resumo
O campo da Educação Ambiental tem acumulado uma larga experiência na produção de conhecimento apresentado na forma de teses e dissertações. Destaca-se que a primeira tese de doutorado no campo é do ano de 1989. Além disso, também destacamos o fato de que há uma escassa produção acadêmica que indique os significados produzidos pelo campo da Educação Ambiental sobre a Educação de Jovens e Adultos, sendo este um nível educativo ainda muito significativo em termos sociais em nosso país. Diante deste contexto apresentamos a seguinte questão de pesquisa: O que as teses e dissertações do campo de pesquisa da Educação Ambiental, presentes no Banco Earte, podem nos revelar sobre as práticas pedagógicas de Educação Ambiental desenvolvidas na Educação de Jovens e Adultos? Para a construção desta investigação nos voltamos para o banco de teses e dissertações do Earte, em especial para as teses e dissertações que envolvem a Educação Ambiental e a Educação de Jovens e Adultos em espaços escolares. Esta é uma pesquisa tipo documental que se fundamenta em abordagens de natureza qualitativa. O corpus documental desta investigação foi construído a partir das teses e dissertações presentes no banco de dados do Earte. A interpretação dos dados foi realizada por meio da metodologia de análise de conteúdo, que possui objetivos bem definidos e que servem para “desvendar o que está oculto” no texto, mediante decodificação da mensagem e foram utilizadas as categorias “Temas de estudo” e “Dialogicidade”. Os resultados desta investigação indicam que a escola é considerada fundamental para a transformação social, as práticas pedagógicas analisadas nas dissertações, em sua maioria, podem ser entendidas como compartilhando a perspectiva transformadora da sociedade, todavia não foram encontrados limites explícitos e implícitos de tais práticas na perspectiva de mudança social.
The field of Environmental Education has accumulated extensive experience in the production of knowledge presented in the form of theses and dissertations. It should be noted that the first doctoral thesis in the field is from the year 1989. In addition, we also highlight the fact that there is a scarce academic production that indicates the meanings produced by the field of Environmental Education on Youth and Adult Education, being this educational level is still very significant in social terms in our country. In view of this context, we present the following research question: What do the theses and dissertations of the Environmental Education research field present at the Earte Bank reveal to us about the pedagogical practices of Environmental Education developed in Youth and Adult Education? To construct this research, we return to the Earte thesis and dissertation bank, especially for theses and dissertations that involve Environmental Education and Youth and Adult Education in school spaces. This is a documentary type research that is based on qualitative approaches. The documentary corpus of this investigation was constructed from the theses and dissertations present in the database of the Earte. The interpretation of the data was carried out through the methodology of content analysis, which has well defined objectives and serves to "unveil what is hidden" in the text, by decoding the message and using the categories "Themes of study" and " Dialogicity ". The results of this investigation indicate that the school is considered fundamental for social transformation, the pedagogical practices analyzed in the dissertations, for the most part, can be understood as sharing the transforming perspective of society, however, no explicit and implicit limits of such practices were found in the perspective of social change.
