Resumo

Collective, spontaneous and solidary work are mediated through non-market productive relationships intra and inter-family. They are traditional elements of peasant families, which are: solidarity and reciprocity relationships, that create and strengthen elementary and social-affective community ties fundamental to the organization and (re)production socio-spatial among rural households. So in this paper we look to think about a kind of rural community work, known like marombas. It has been practiced until the mid-1980s by quilombolas families in Alagadiço region in Jequitinhonha Valley, located in Minas Novas County, Minas Gérais State. To reach this goal, we use a qualitative methodology, based on semi-structured interviews, life stories and audio records of the marombas songs. After to analyze and discuss, we concluded that marombas were very important to support quilombola territorialization and more recently reterritorialization processes. Thev aromóte the creation of an extensive network of intra and inter-family relationships, build and strengthen social and identity ties among members of these communities, contribute to their integration and community cohesion. Also, marombas allow socio-spatial organization and (re)production families.
