Resumo
Identificar a inserção da temática Competência em Informação no cenário arquivístico é o eixo da presente pesquisa, considerando ser a Competência em Informação uma disciplina relevante para a sociedade diante dos avanços tecnológicos, da necessidade do indivíduo de desenvolver habilidades para lidar com a informação e usufruir dos recursos tecnológicos e a Arquivologia uma ciência cujo objeto é a informação. A pesquisa está calcada em três pilares da Arquivologia: a produção científica da área, os cursos de formação superior e a atuação profissional do arquivista. Por meio desses pilares foram elaborados os objetivos específicos que desencadearam o desenho do percurso metodológico dividido em três fases que propiciará alcançar o objetivo principal da pesquisa. A Fase 1 “Sistematização dos temas de pesquisa” foi construída por meio da Pesquisa Bibliográfica, com o intuito de sustentar teoricamente as fases seguintes e traçar um panorama sobre as áreas e suas inter-relações. A Fase 2 “Desenvolvimento do Estudo de caso” foi dividida em três etapas de acordo com os objetivos propostos: A primeira etapa desenvolvida por meio da Revisão Bibliográfica Sistemática, objetivou identificar a situação da Competência em Informação na produção acadêmico-científica da Arquivologia, cujos resultados apresentaram no cenário internacional pesquisas com os termos Archival Literacy, Archival Intelligence e Literacy with primary sources configurados teoricamente como uma vertente arquivística da Information Literacy e no cenário nacional os resultados evidenciaram uma baixa produção bibliográfica, diante de uma relação ainda pouco explorada no Brasil, mas com elevado potencial de pesquisa; a segunda etapa visou identificar a inserção da Competência em Informação na formação em Arquivologia, desenvolvida por meio da Pesquisa documental nos Projetos pedagógicos, matrizes curriculares e ementas disciplinares das 16 universidades brasileiras que ofertam a graduação em Arquivologia, os resultados apontaram que embora não apareça de forma explícita, os princípios da Competência em Informação permeiam todos os documentos norteadores do ensino e a terceira etapa visou identificar o papel da Competência em Informação na atuação profissional do arquivista por meio da aplicação de um questionário, cujas respostas apontaram a necessidade de inserção da temática na formação do arquivista, considerando que os profissionais que já ocupam postos de trabalho, identificam, mesmo sem o conhecimento teórico, a relevância dessas habilidades para a prática cotidiana do arquivista. A Fase 3 propôs o desenvolvimento de subsídios teórico-práticos da Competência em Informação aplicáveis à Arquivologia, cujo produto configurou-se no instrumento “Dimensões Conceituais para inserção da Competência em Informação no cenário arquivístico brasileiro” elaborado pela triangulação dos resultados obtidos nas fases 1 e 2, com o propósito de que esse instrumento se configure como o embasamento teórico-conceitual para que os preceitos da Competência em Informação sejam inseridos no âmbito da Arquivologia, no eixo da formação e atuação profissional e na construção de um arcabouço teórico relevante que atenda tanto o universo acadêmico-científico arquivístico, como das demais disciplinas que estabelecem relações com a Arquivologia e, principalmente possa ser refletido em ações concretas que beneficiem a sociedade como um todo.
Identify the insertion of Information Literacy in the Archival Science scenario is the focus of this research, considering that Information Literacy is a relevant discipline for society in the face of technological advances, the need of the individual to develop skills to deal with information and to enjoy of technological resources and Archival Science a science whose object is information. The research is based on three pillars of the Archival Science: the scientific production of the area, the courses of higher education and the professional performance of the archivist. Through these pillars were elaborated the specific objectives that triggered the design of the methodological course divided in three phases that will achieve the main objective of the research. Phase 1 "Systematization of research topics" was built through the Bibliographic Research, with the purpose of theoretically sustaining the following phases and outlining areas and their interrelationships. Phase 2 "Case Study Development" was divided into three stages according to the proposed objectives: The first stage developed through the Systematic Bibliographic Review, aimed at identifying the Information Literacy situation in the academic-scientific production of the Archival Science, whose the results presented in the international scenario researches with the terms Archival Literacy, Archival Intelligence and Literacy with primary sources, theoretically configured as an archival aspect of Information Literacy and in the national scenario the results evidenced a low bibliographical production, facing a relation still little explored in Brazil, but with high research potential; the second stage was aimed at identifying the insertion of Information Literacy in Archival Science training, developed through Documentary Research in Teaching Projects, curriculum matrices and disciplinary reports of the 16 Brazilian universities that offer a degree in Archival Science, the results pointed out that although it does not appear in In an explicit way, the principles of Information Literacy permeate all teaching documents and the third stage aimed at identifying the role of Information Literacy in the professional performance of the archivist through the application of a questionnaire, whose answers pointed out the need to insert the subject in the training of the archivist, considering that the professionals who already occupy jobs, identify, even without theoretical knowledge, the relevance of these skills to the daily practice of the archivist. Phase 3 proposed the development of theoretical-practical subsidies of the Information Literacy applicable to Archival Science, whose product was configured in the instrument "Conceptual Dimensions for insertion of Information Literacy in the Brazilian archival scenario" elaborated by the triangulation of the results obtained in the phases 1 and 2, with the purpose that this instrument be configured as the theoretical-conceptual basis for the Information Literacy precepts to be inserted within the scope of Archival Science, in the axis of professional training and performance and in the construction of a relevant theoretical framework that meets both the academic-scientific archival universe, and the other disciplines that establish relations with the Archival Science, and especially can be reflected in concrete actions that benefit society as a whole.
