Dialogismo e polifonia na série "O Bairro" de Gonçalo M. Tavares

Resumo
A presente tese centra-se na série “O Bairro” de Gonçalo M. Tavares (Luanda, 1970), escritor angolano de família portuguesa que, em decorrência da guerra, mudou-se muito cedo para Portugal com sua família, sendo assim considerado pela crítica um autor português. Seus escritos têm alcançado notoriedade não só em Portugal como também na Europa e no Brasil. Suas publicações têm conquistado muitos prêmios dentro e fora de Portugal. Focaremos nossa análise na coleção “O Bairro”, que é composta por dez narrativas ficcionais, das quais foram selecionadas seis para nosso estudo, a saber: O senhor Brecht (2005), O senhor Juarroz (2007b), O senhor Kraus (2007c), O senhor Walser (2008), O senhor Valéry e a lógica (2012c) e, por último, O senhor Henri e a enciclopédia (2012c). Estas seis narrativas ficcionais são representadas na série “O Bairro” por suas características dialógicas, ou seja, pressupõem um falante e um receptor, causando assim a reciprocidade entre ambos, delineado pelo mínimo entendimento da fala; assim como pelas características polifônicas de seus personagens, pois ela se manifesta nas narrativas ficcionais através das multifaces dos personagens e carrega em si um contraste ao dogmatismo e a o discurso monológico que impera em outros gêneros literários. No século XXI, Tavares lê o mundo através destes aspectos – definições do teórico Bakhtin- que levam seus personagens a lidarem com as situações de vida de uma maneira inusitada, a partir, do fato de cada um tem o seu espaço, o jeito de ser e fazer o que quiserem. Portanto, neste lugar denominado “O Bairro”, “os senhores” serão uma representação do mundo contemporâneo.
This work focuses on "The Neighborhood" series by Gonçalo M. Tavares (Luanda, 1970), an Angolan writer with a Portuguese family who, due to the war, moved very early to Portugal with his family. He is an Portuguese author, according to the critics. His writings have achieved notoriety not only in Portugal but also in Europe and Brazil. His publications have won many prizes inside and outside Portugal. We will focus our analysis on the "The Neighborhood" collection, which is composed of ten fictional narratives, of which six were selected for our study, namely: Mr. Brecht (2005), Mr. Juarroz (2007b), Mr. Kraus (2007c) , Mr. Walser (2008), Mr. Valéry and the logic (2012c) and, finally, Mr. Henri and the encyclopedia (2012c). These six fictional narratives are represented in the series "The Neighborghood" for its dialogical characteristics, that is, they presuppose a speaker and a receiver, thus causing reciprocity between the two, outlined by the minimal understanding of speech, as well as for the polyphony of its characters, because it manifests itself in fictional narratives through the multifaceted characters and carries in itself a contrast to the dogmatism and the monological discourse that prevails in other literary genres. In the 21st century, Tavares reads the world through the dialogical and polyphonic aspects - definitions of the theorist Bakhtin - that lead his characters to deal with life situations in an unusual way, starting from the fact that each has its space, the way to be and do whatever you want. Therefore, in this place called "The Neighborhood", "the lords" will be a representation of the contemporary world.
