This work is based on the theory of social domains of E. Turiel and consists of a qualitative and quantitative study, which aims to investigate the judgments and assessments of teenagers on interpersonal conflicts in the school environment. It also aims to compare these same variables among first and third year high school students, as well as between genders. The sample consisted of 137 students from a state school in the interior of São Paulo, chosen for convenience. Initially, assemblage observation sessions of the school routine on conflict-causing situations were carried out as a way of contributing to the construction of the research instrument, which resulted in four representative histories of the conflicts observed. In order to evaluate how the students judged and evaluated the attitude of the protagonists of the stimulus stories, interviews were conducted with the participants. The answers to the open questions were categorized and crossed with the variables school year and gender. For the quantitative analysis, the absolute and relative frequencies of the variables were described and comparisons were made between them with the Chi-Square test, except for question 3, which was evaluated with the analysis of variance. The results shown that the attitude of the protagonists in the four stories: the "Ignorant", the "Nickname", the "Copy of work" and the "Fulfillment", were considered wrong by young people. As to the categories of justification, the justifications formed a set of seven categories: damage, justice, rights (moral domain); custom / expectation (conventional domain); personal choice (personal domain); prudence (prudence); multifaceted. In the first story we had the categories damage and rights, with adolescents using more the category of rights and adolescents, the damage. In the "Nickname" history, the three types of categories were: damage, rights and multifaceted, predominating the first. In the multifaceted domain category of this story, there was a higher rate of third-year adolescents. The history of the "copy of work" had the highest number of categories of justification: custom / social expectation, damage, justice and prudence, without differences by variable. In the last "Compliance" history, the two categories were personal choice and social convention / expectation, the first with the highest percentage, with no differences per variable. The criteria of justification were analyzed: severity, intensity of punishment, existence of rule, alterability, contingency, jurisdiction of authority and origin of social knowledge. From the analysis three aspects were evidenced; almost no inexistence of judgment by gender in the research, almost no difference of judgment per school year, and the question of parenting in the origin of social knowledge in the values of the young, in which the family was the most mentioned. The results showed the potential of the theory of social domains for the understanding of conflicts among high school students, a knowledge that can collaborate in the socio-moral education of these teenagers.
