This thesis is linked to the research line “Training of education professionals, educational policies and public schools”, of the Graduate Program in Education at Universidade Estadual Paulista (Unesp), Presidente Prudente Campus. Contemporary education requires that its actors and professionals understand the demands, needs and challenges of the present time. This evidences a constant movement that is reflected in the school and to accompany this change it is necessary to rethink the objectives and educational and teaching practices, the classroom dynamics, the relationship between teacher and student, among others. From this perspective, it is convenient to think about the work of the Educational Speech, Language and Hearing Pathology in this context, thus the practice of speech therapy lacks another movement in the educational axis that is no longer the biological one. The study assumes that the professional performance of the Educational Speech, Language and Hearing Pathology goes beyond the hegemonically biologizing and naturalizing practices, so their training must include knowledge that makes it possible to understand and act in line with the needs and reality of Education and the school. That said, the research sought to answer the following general question: How can professional knowledge from experiences contribute to the composition of Speech, Language and Hearing Pathology training in the educational and school context? The general objective was defined as “to analyze and understand the professional knowledge (re)signified by the experience that composes and underpins the training of Speech, Language and Hearing Pathology to work in Education and at school”. The theoretical contribution assumed was based on professional knowledge from the approach of Maurice Tardif (2011). The emphasis on the (auto)biographical narratives of Educational Speech, Language and Hearing Pathologists marks the appreciation of giving a voice to those who are inserted in the educational and school context. It is a qualitative study and as a research method we use the (auto)biographical research guided by António Nóvoa for privileging the individual's stories when considering their experiences and understanding the senses and meanings of appropriate knowledge throughout their life, enabling the apprehension of the professional knowledge of Speech, Language and Hearing Pathology in Education. The research device was the (auto)biographical narrative through (auto)biographical memorials and the narrative interviews and the analysis procedures were based on the comprehensive-interpretative analysis proposed by Eliseu Clementino de Souza. The thematic analysis units identified in the analysis and interpretation of the data focused on the formative trajectory and the professional trajectory. The results correctly point out that talking about the professional knowledge that underpins and composes the training of Speech, Language and Hearing Pathology in the educational and school context cannot be separated from the reality in which professionals are inserted, that is, there is no way to access these knowledge without giving time and voice to those who are and are in these contexts. Professional knowledge was revealed in the narratives in ways of knowing how to be, knowing how to do, knowing how to act, that is, in the “what to do” and “how to act” based on the examples presented. The results corroborate the thesis that the professional performance of the Educational Speech, Language and Hearing Pathology goes beyond the hegemonically biologizing and naturalizing practices, so their training must include knowledge that makes it possible to understand and act in line with the needs and reality of Education and the school.
