Resumo
O trabalho vem a tratar da temática da ansiedade pré-competitiva no meio esportivo. Sabendo que o Brasil está no topo da lista de pessoas ansiosas, no cenário esportivo competitivo não seria diferente. Assim, o objetivo deste trabalho foi analisar e compreender se a ansiedade pré-competitiva pode afetar o desempenho do atleta, verificando se nesse momento há um prejuízo de rendimento em decorrência dos sintomas da ansiedade pré-competitiva. Como procedimento metodológico desta pesquisa adotou-se a revisão bibliográfica através dos bancos de dados Scientific Electronic Libary Online (SciELO), ScienceDirect, assim como o Google Acadêmico e seus direcionamentos para os canais de divulgação científica. Foi identificado que a ansiedade pré-competitiva se configura como um fator influente no desempenho esportivo de atletas, especialmente em atletas de modalidades individuais e com idades menores. Recomendam-se maiores estudos a fim de enriquecer ainda mais essa área.
This study had the purpose of discussing the pre-competitive anxiety on sports environment. It is common knowledge that Brazil has outrageous numbers of people with anxiety, so it could not be different in the sport context. The study had the objective of analyzing and understanding if the pre-competitive anxiety can affect the athlete's performance, verifying if, in this moment, there is a prejudice of accomplishments because of the symptoms of pre-competitive anxiety. The methodological research procedure adopted was a literature review, using the database from SciELO (Scientific Eletronic Library Online), ScienceDirect and Academic Google and its channels for scientific disclosures. It was identified that pre-competitive anxiety is configured as an influencing factor in the sports performance of athletes, especially in those from individual sports and at younger ages. Further studies are recommended in order to further enrich this area.
