Resumo
Apresentarei aqui um trabalho de pesquisa sobre o assunto “música e cinema”, onde introduzo inicialmente os inventores e suas invenções que contribuíram para a arte que hoje em dia é conhecida como a sétima (o físico, teórico e crítico de cinema, Ricciotto Canudo, publicou o “Manifesto da Sete Artes”, onde o cinema foi chamado de arte pela primeira vez, em 1911). Em seguida, como surgiram as músicas dos primeiros filmes da história, conhecido como cinema mudo, e as teorias sobre o porquê a música acompanhava as sessões e como os idealizadores de filmes e compositores passaram a manipulá-la. Por fim, uma pequena análise sonora da música The Murder do filme Psicose (1960), de Alfred Hitchcock. O objetivo deste estudo é ampliar o conhecimento histórico sobre o assunto possibilitando uma futura pesquisa mais profunda, e a criação de uma série de vídeos informativos com a intenção de ilustrar melhor o conteúdo.
I will present here a research work on the subject "music and cinema", where I initially introduce the inventors and their inventions that contributed to the art that today is known as the seventh (the physicist, theoretician and film critic, Ricciotto Canudo, published the "The Birth of the Sixth Art", where cinema was first called art in 1911). Next, how the music of the first movies in history, known as silent movies, came about, and the theories about why music accompanied the sessions and how the creators of movies and composers started to manipulate it. Finally, a short sound analysis of the song The Murder from Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho. The objective of this study is to broaden the historical knowledge on the subject making possible future deeper research, and the creation of a series of informative videos with the aim of better illustrating the content.
