Resumo
O objetivo desta pesquisa é compreender a relação entre artistas e a prática de mediação sobre seu próprio trabalho dentro e fora do ambiente virtual. Como material de bibliografia e netgrafia foram utilizados lives, blogs e sites centrando-se em quatro artistas escolhidos: Ana Lira, Robinho Santana, Alexandre Sequeira e Sônia Gomes. Foi elaborado um formulário e disponibilizado pelo Google Forms durante 3 meses, de outubro a dezembro de 2021. O resultado coletado foi imprescindível para a escrita deste trabalho, pois seu direcionamento tinha como meta compreender como educadores de exposição percebem as mediações de artistas: vindas dos artistas presentes nas exposições em que trabalhavam ou sua experiência pessoal mediando seus trabalhos de arte, caso também tivessem um fazer artístico. O trabalho se fundamentou pela contraposição entre Arte Relacional, termo cunhado por Nicolas Bourriaud e a discussão crítica sobre arte participativa realizada por Claire Bishop, para entender a complexidade das obras e a postura do artista. Conversa aprofundada por escritos e experiências de autoras e autores que versam sobre educação ou arte-educação como bell hooks, Valquíria Prates, Luiz Camnitzer e outros, para conceituar com estes o que é e como fazer mediação. Por fim, a partir do cruzamento entre escritos teóricos sobre educação, estética e arte-educação, análises de artistas e as respostas coletadas pelo formulário foi possível compreender o que seria uma mediação ideal e encontrar exemplos interessantes e construtivos desta prática feita por artistas sobre seus próprios trabalhos.
The objective of this research is to understand the relationship between artists and the practice of mediating their own work inside and outside the virtual environment.As bibliography and netgraphy material, lives, blogs and websites were used, focusing on four chosen artists: Ana Lira, Robinho Santana, Alexandre Sequeira and Sônia Gomes.A form was created and available by Google Forms during 3 months, from October to December 2021. The result collected was essential for the writing of this work, as its direction aimed to understand how exhibition educators perceive the mediations of artists: coming from the artists present in the exhibitions they worked for or their personal experience mediating their artwork, in case they also had an artistic making.The work was based on the opposition between Relational Art, a term coined by Nicolas Bourriaud, and the critical discussion on participatory art made by Claire Bishop, in order to understand the complexity of the works and the artist's posture. In-depth conversation by writings and experiences of women and men authors who deal with education or art education such as bell hooks, Valquíria Prates, Luiz Camnitzer and others, to conceptualize with them what it is and how to do mediation. Finally, from the crossover between theoretical writings on education, aesthetics and art education, analysis of artists and the responses collected by the form, it was possible to understand what would be an ideal mediation and find interesting and constructive examples of this practice made by artists about their own works.
