Futebol praticado por mulheres: uma análise do ponto de vista delas

Resumo
Os enfrentamentos sociais para as mulheres remontam a uma série de questões que vão desde oportunidades de emprego, reconhecimento da competência, justiça salarial, desrespeito e violência, dentre tantos outros. No esporte a situação não é diferente, trazendo resquícios que resvalam na universidade, instituição na qual, pensaríamos hoje, que as dificuldades das mulheres já estariam quase imperceptíveis. Neste sentido, o objetivo deste estudo foi compreender de que forma o esporte universitário, mais especificamente a prática do futebol, foi se constituindo na vida esportiva das universitárias, ou seja, nos círculos de amizade, na prática com demais mulheres, nas experiências e apoios, nas sensações e nas percepções de integrarem a primeira equipe universitária e poderem disputar uma competição universitária. A pesquisa se pautou pela abordagem qualitativa, fazendo uso da entrevista para coletar os dados. Participaram do estudo 9 universitárias que integravam a equipe de futebol de mulheres de uma instituição pública de ensino do estado de São Paulo. Os resultados foram organizados em quatro categorias de análise: 1. Escola e família: o pontapé inicial - A escola e a família revelaram-se como oportunidades/incentivadores das experiências primeiras com o esporte. Todavia, nestes campos, foram expressas situações de preconceito e estereótipos, dando o caráter ambíguo para estes espaços que podem potencializar a prática esportiva, mas também, afastar as mulheres dela; 2. Universidade – O cenário universitário se mostrou como agregador, fortalecendo o grupo e se transformando numa potente influenciadora das mulheres que iam chegando, dando mais vigor para as lutas que buscavam vencer; 3. Legado: marcas históricas - Universitárias com o compromisso em deixar um legado da experiência que vivenciaram ao lutar pela inclusão das mulheres no futebol e da inclusão deste nos jogos da universidade; 4. A visibilidade, é visível? - As universitárias reconhecem que as mídias têm um papel fundamental para colaborar com a visibilidade do futebol de mulheres, porém, são, de modo mais enfático, as mídias alternativas que vem fazendo esse papel. Tais achados salientam o desafio ainda enfrentado pelas mulheres no âmbito universitário, sobretudo na prática do futebol, todavia, revela mudanças de comportamentos e atitudes significativas e que já vem trazendo bons frutos para a conquista deste espaço por parte delas.
Social confrontations for women go back to a series of issues ranging from job opportunities, recognition of competence, fair wages, disrespect and violence, among many others. In sports, the situation is no different, bringing remnants that slip into the university, an institution in which, we would think today, that women's difficulties would already be almost imperceptible. In this sense, the objective of this study was to understand how university sport, more specifically the practice of football, was constituted in the sporting life of university students, that is, in friendship circles, in practice with other women, in experiences and support. , in the sensations and perceptions of being part of the first university team and being able to compete in a university competition. The research was guided by the qualitative approach, making use of the interview to collect the data. The study included 9 university students who were part of the women's soccer team of a public educational institution in the state of São Paulo. The results were organized into four categories of analysis: 1. School and family: the kick-off - School and family proved to be opportunities/encouragers for early experiences with sport. However, in these fields, situations of prejudice and stereotypes were expressed, giving an ambiguous character to these spaces that can enhance the practice of sports, but also keep women away from it; 2. University – The university scenario proved to be an aggregator, strengthening the group and becoming a powerful influencer of the women who were arriving, giving more vigor to the struggles they sought to win; 3. Legacy: historical marks - University with a commitment to leave a legacy of the experience they lived in fighting for the inclusion of women in football and its inclusion in university games; 4. Is visibility visible? - The university students recognize that the media have a fundamental role in contributing to the visibility of women's football, however, it is, more emphatically, the alternative media that have been playing this role. Such findings highlight the challenge still faced by women in the university environment, especially in the practice of football, however, it reveals significant changes in behavior and attitudes that have already been bearing good results for them to conquer this space.
